Well through personal trial we discovered overrating the filter did not detrimentally effect our project, filter sock was very dirty after our 3 1/2 month run, but no odor was detectable in exhaust.

Next time we will definitely upgrade our filter just for long term reliability and peace of mind.

Ok, first of all let me start by saying thank you to all the knowledgeable experienced members of this site, you all rock! I'm having a dilemna, I recently purchased a eco plus 6in 440 cfm fan and wanted to match it to a can filter 66, unfortunately the shop only had the can filter 2600.. My question is, if I hook up the 440 cfm fan to the can filter, roughly rated at 94 cfm, will there be a problem? Can filter would have 6" to 4" adapter to accommodate 6" ducting, fan and Rating: 5
