So we have decided to go ahead and use the 2600 filter, ambient room temperature is right at 77 degrees.

plants have another few weeks on veg so no strong odors as of yet..

ventilation is filter-->fan-->hood-->attic all lined up with no 90 degree bends, two 45 degree bends at the most.

Air exchange seems to be keeping up with the 600w.

 but my question remains, will a 440cfm fan pulling on a filter only rated at 94cfm cause odor problems or stress the fan too much?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Ok, first of all let me start by saying thank you to all the knowledgeable experienced members of this site, you all rock! I'm having a dilemna, I recently purchased a eco plus 6in 440 cfm fan and wanted to match it to a can filter 66, unfortunately the shop only had the can filter 2600.. My question is, if I hook up the 440 cfm fan to the can filter, roughly rated at 94 cfm, will there be a problem? Can filter would have 6" to 4" adapter to accommodate 6" ducting, fan and Rating: 5
