Hi
I am me and I am a 11 years sufferer of Generalized Panic Disorder, Panic Attacks and Depression and have been hospitalized over 25 times due to this condition. I have so far been on over 8 types of anti-depressants', 9 types of Benzodiazepines and about half a dozen different types of sleep aids, including extreme alcohol abuse as a medication.
I became a Medical Cannabis patient in March of 2008. At the time I was 6 months sober from the Alcohol, however I was taking several anti-depressants in combination with benzodiazepines and prescription sleep aids.
Today I am 14 months sober from Alcohol. I am taking only a single anti-depressant(I am in the weaning process.), I am taking a 50% reduction in Benzodiazepines and I no longer take any prescription sleep aids.
So far Cannabis has done what prescription pills and alcohol could not do in 11 years of trials and testing. I am a software engineer and work from home so I use either pure Sativas or Sativa Dominate Hybrids during work and switch to Pure Indicas toward nighttime.
As the pills get more out of my system I have noticed so much more clarity with my work in particular and better, longer concentration, it's great!
