I've run into many a purple stem. I didn't do anything except lower the nute doses and they all turned out beautiful.
willonia Reviewed by willonia on . HELP! Bleeding on the stems leading to the leaves? Indeed yes. I just flushed them (i was getting an over nute problem) and all of a sudden, on many of the bigger fan leaves, red"ish" material, resembling blood started to appear at the end of the stem leading to the leaves. Is this normal? Can anybody help? Oh, and how far should CFL's (26 watts) be away from the plants. I don't believe it's within 1-2 inches like fluoros so I would also like to know. Thanks ;) Rating: 5
