If I were you though, I would ditch the tubes and go all CFL, for flower anyways. I use tubes for Veg and CFL for flower the reason being this....my 4 ft tubes are 40w a piece, 80 overall. I can use 3-4 CFL's 26w's and place them around the plants to maximize my lighting. Same amount of watts but I'm getting more from them. Ya dig?

I DIG!! I m going to add a few more cfls in there to brighten it up in there. The cfls will fit right in between the tubes i have mounted on the plywood.I could fit 4 or 5 in there still.Closet is only 4 1/2 square ft. Should b plenty of light then.I hope it doesn't mess up the temp too much tho.Its all a work in progress but coming along good so far. Thanks for the advice!!

Sounds like a plan, just watch the temps. You could put a fan blowing on the bulbs to control temperature if necessary.

Make sure to keep them about 3 inches away because CFLs WILL burn leaves if they are close or touching. A small fan blowing on the lights should take care of heat, I wouldn't worry unless it gets over 80 degrees. Peace

So far so good!! The heat hasn't been a factor at all. Highest was 80 so far.
