As far as ventilation goes, I've been thinking about making my own carbon filter and using an inline fan vented into my attic. In the meantime, I will be using a regular rotating fan with the far closet door somewhat open. The closet is actually located next to a large open window which should provide plenty of fresh air.
If you keep the closet door open and there is a windows you should worry about people seeing you're plants and you'll have to light proof the place for flowering. You should be all right for now with a normal fan with the T5, but install your inline an before the 400w HPS!
