Close to converting one to MMJ

This is very exciting news for me and maybe for the community as well.

My mom who is opposed to my use altogether, recently came out that she would try mmj for medical necessities.
She has been suffering for over ten years with fibromyalgia (sp?), rheumatory arthritis and lupis. She takes 10-20 pills a day. In the morning, afternoon and evening. Her medications are constantly changing and her wear is no better and actually she feels progressively worse. She also takes klnopin and I have no idea why. Just shows the doctors are clueless. These pills change her demeaner, outlook, and health tremendously. She never has smoked or ingested and has severe asthma and allergies. When i find a good strain for these collective ailments I will most assuredly cook it in the meal. I just hope (confident btw) that mmj will be something she can lean on, instead of these deadly medications.

The time is far in the future, as Im not even set up in a medical state, but will soon be. Definetely thinking an indica with good pain relieving, appetite stimulating and insomnia properties when the time comes.

Ive felt before no one that is completely anti-drug will come to terms with anything like this. I still feel some are hopeless, but prior judgements of complete, utter hoplessness seems false. Some will just simply deny and deny.

Invest in a vaporizer! My best friend is a severe asthmatic. She only smoked a bit at parties, but her health took a turn for the worse. She "got legal" last year. I took a nice bud from my stash, put a bit in a clean glass pipe and had her take a hit. As usual, she coughed and coughed. Then I took a bit more from the same bud, ground it up and put it in the Vapor Brother's. She took a hit.......and smiled. We ordered her Vapor Brother's about 5 minutes later. It will run about $175 or less- and is worth EVERY penny!

Thanks Granny!! Im a bit of a cookin whiz, so ill def check those recipes out. I was skeptical even with a vaporizer, but that excerpt changed my mind enough to try.

This is great that your mother is seeing the truth and great potential of Marijuana!

I too have been changing my families views on Marijuana, my grandmother has already been reading much on it and is supporting it, at thanksgiving I will be showing them a dvd to better educate them
