    Aloha Loco,

Plain old tap water should do.
    No nutes for seedlings.
Probably wasted on clones, so, no.
And warm water works mo' betta than cold to expand the pellets.

    Regards,
    Weezard

Jiffy Pot brand are made of peat, too acidic for MJ ... yes, your plant may not die, yadayada, but I recommend RapidRooters over the Jiffy products ... 'Rooters are made of compressed bark, and neutral pH (your seedlings will thank you) ... :smokin:

Call up my fave hydro people & got a great deal!

    2 400 watt HPS/MH ballasts with cords...$50 each, new!
2 Reflectors with cords $20 each!

Could not resist, had to have em at those prices!

Hi Weeze, Hi IR, glad to see ya!

I only had Jiffy pellets, so that is what I used, needed to starts some clones! I did get some rockwool starters, but ain't used em yet.

I've just been using pH adjusted water only on the clones.

My seedlings are in some seedling starter mix and Perlite. I was out of plastic cups, so I used some leftover 3 inch peat pots.

I agree IR, don't like to use the peat pots, they dry out also!

Jiffy pellets for clones works GREAT for me for the price and easy to obtain out here in the sticks. Would like to try the Rapid Rooters one day.

For now, I was just shocked at the Jiffy pellets for clones. I expected they would all die, but they are 100% alive and rooting.

I've been potting at least 2 a day as the Rhinos finish rooting. I used some tiny clones to start the first time I tried it. So Rhinos are tiny clones! Some under one and two inches..!!

All my buddies will be getting some free clones this year! LOL.

I grew up on a Farm in Kansas....we also had a Farmers Almanac that we planted by when it was convenient. Unknown if the planting tables worked, but I can tell you the fishing guides were notoriously inaccurate for Kansas fish. I can say this for certain, every time I see Dutch Pimps Avatar I want to find my Ole Lady and do fun things to her. Thanks!

Hey Ya'll, things seem kind of ghost town like in this thread!

    Hmmm. Need to update.

My big news is the lights I got really meant I had a lot of work to do. I built a bloom room about 10x12 and use 3 400s to light that.

I tore out the veg and moved them into the other side, using the 4th 400 to light that area.

My little stick of a California Orange bud is now budding! Yes, finally I have buds. Not a lot yet, haven't had the bloom room going long. I got to make one run before it gets hot here.

Also made a lot of White Rhino clones to put outside to wait for fall.

My current bloom includes White Widow, White Rhino, Cali O, WhiteBerry x PP, and Ice Cool. I am in about day 8 or so of bloom, so not much yet.

    Don't be strangers!
