My plant is on week three as of today, its 2nd set of 5 star leaves are coming in (this marks node 5) and i have been putting the plant through LST since friday. however i didnt pull it aside with a string, rather i pinned the plant down flat with hooks made from hanger wire, this helped to promote my secondary growthes a little bit (which were slightly apparent for about 4 or 5 days prior to LST) however they seem to be rather slow. i released my plant from its LST today because some of the secondary growthes were hitting the soil and stoppin them (they were noticably smaller than the others) and im in the process of waiting for my plant to correct itself back upwards. I hope to try the string method of LST to see if my results will come out better.

my main concern is having a bushy plant, other than topping or FIMing, how can i promote healthy secondary growth?
