Fox farm+ perlite what ratio

Ok i am planning on transplanting my plants into bigger pots then put them into flowering tomarrow

I baught two big bags of Fox Farms Ocean Forest and some perlite and was wondering what ratio i should mix them together at.

Hello stoned 88911.. I use FoxFarm OceanForrest and have been for years... You can use it straight with great results, I have many times... But I do like to lighten it up... I use FF Light Warrior because of the Humic Acid and Mycorrizal Fungi... But I would add 3 or 4 nice handfuls of perlite to a 3 gallon pot.. Im sorry I dont do exact measurements I go by feel... Just go for it... OF has a lot of goodness in it just dont have perlite floating on top.... You could do a 5 to 1 ratio safely and get good results... d:rastasmoke:

I read that 5% was good.. but since is for aeration and better root anchorage and not a nutrient I would say it's pretty hard to use too much.. No more than 15% Im going to guess

I ended up using none, i opened up the bag of dirt and it looked to dam good.

When i xfered my plants the roots were all over the place trying to come out of the bottom of the pot., i should have done it before now, i hope there ok.

the y will be fine so long as there arent like fuzzy lookin like mold on there, nawtalmbout, but yea the ocean forest is sick i use it; the grow big and the tiger bloom shit is raw.i like to use it straight but when i do cut it i use ground cocotek,great drainage just like the perlite and a real nice stretch i think u can do that one 50-50.its nice.wu tang clan aint nuthin to f with.

yea for my grow Im using Fox Farm potting soil.. not the Ocean Forest but the other Organic one.. grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom. Im getting perlite.. most likely the Fox Farm brand and its a wrap. It's somethig about Fox Farm that I just love!!!

i've gone 10:3 ocean forest to perlite...about 30% perlite with good results
