Need Help: Trying to start a NORML Chapter

hey guys, with the recent votes on decriminalization in MA, and after have been talking about it with my roommate, I am considering starting a norml chapter at my college. There is about 9,000 students at my school....id say about 25% toke up on a weekly basis, i know quite a few who :stoned: everyday...and i know that activism definitly helps in the reformation of marijuana laws, and i feel that starting a chapter at my school would help(a lil bit anyways)....i was just wondering if anyone has any advice or experiance that they could help me with?

p.s. ive been talking with UMD norml chapter leader, and there considering coming to my college to speak and help. heres there site.


any suggestions/advice is greatly appreciated...especially if you've done it before!

This is great! Been trying to do this in Fort Wayne, Indiana. With nobody responding even the national Norml ignoring me. I would first find out if you are allowed to start such a group on campus. Other than that I would say this is good because the more young-mid aged college adults we have the better knowledgeable society as we are the ones who will be running the country in the following years
