And I thought I was the only one on these boards that knew about that H-Town scene. Man, all I ever bang is Screwstone rappers. R.I.P. Hawk, Fat Pat, DJ Screw, Big Moe, Pimp C, Big Mello... But Long Live Z-Ro, Trae, SPM, Lil' Flip, Big Pokey, and Bun B!


There really is something about our Texas scene, anyone who listens to our music will know whats up. (Some of the best rap I've ever heard in MY LIFE came off of Guerilla Maab albums. Go youtube "Speak On It" and see the type of shit I mean.)

i'm from dallas too! there's not a whole lot going on here musically! don't get me wrong there is some, but it's still in it's infancy stages. i've been jamming shit from houston for as long as i can remember. can't mess with face or bun b! bun is one of the most underated lyricsts in the game! i got all the swisha house, screw, face & friends, ugk & friends, z-ro and everybody else from houston.

although UGK is from port aurthur. my favorite group of all time! bun holds it down. it is funny how some people never understood why he repped for pimp (R.I.P) on every song he did while the pimp was locked up! that's trill!

R.I.P. to all the fallen rappers, from houston and everywhere else! violence in hip hop is stupid. as soon as rappers and athletes figure out that they are partly responsible for the way people act these days thing will get better!

it couldn't possibly be because they ride around flaunting jewels and cars not to mention mostly what they rap about! c'mon now. i for one am not stupid, and that is the antithesis of hip hop!
