underground is underground cause they wont make a pop song that radio will spin, and they wont sellout any of the real fans and shit for a bunch of screaming teenage girls who only bought the cd cause mtv says its cool.

Snoop, eminem, 50 cent, ludacris have all paid their dues on the underground. It sounds like you don't want anyone to make any money. If a rapper can make a song that is on TRL and still have people in the streets playing it, then they're versatile, not necessarily a sell out.

And a lot of underground songs sound like they belong on TRL, it's just not enough people are exposed to it.

So again, you can't really generalize.

try "nas is like" "second childhood" "purple" "blaze a 50" "the flyest" "drunk by myself" "get down" ...There are a ton of good ones.
