I live in Atlanta, the dirty south, the new motown, and whatever else they are calling it on the radio. We get more underground and new stuff out here than anywhere else, I like it. I like luda, a whole lot, em makes me laugh, Trina is my girl, you can never go wrong with Dr. Dre, I am liking the youngbloodz lately and yin yang twins because it's good ass shaking music.

I know both of those songs, they're good but not close to nas' best.

try "nas is like" "second childhood" "purple" "blaze a 50" "the flyest" "drunk by myself" "get down" ...There are a ton of good ones.

Oh yeah, any song from Illmatic is good, too.

I am an avid fan of rap, although I started out listening to mainstream, I now mostly listen to underground.

I beleive Torog said something about songs who talk about rape and other criminal acts. Who the fuck rapes a woman then talks about it in there songs? They might say something out of anger or to express themselves but wouldn't do it then brag about it in there songs. If your accussing Tupac or any other artist for this, just listen to other types of music and mos tof the sames stuff is in there. It's just most of rap artist talk about there reality and that stuff might be in there reality. Anyways, they always have songs such complementing women and appreciating them for many things. Just as an example you can look up, Tupac has songs for women such as Dear Mama and others that complement them and also ask "Why do we rape our women, Do we hate our womem? He also has a song saying" Since a man can't make one, he has no right to tell a woman when and where to create one." THis is just off the head. There are plenty of songs out there, mostly by the more intelligent rappers though, that say the same things whether mainstream or underground.

I agree with RIP ODB here with his choices on rap artists but I'd liek to also throw in Slug, Murs, Sage Francis, Louis Logic, and some others I can't think of now.

But I also love Nas, Tupac, Jay-Z, Eminem(don't know how many times I had his first lp taken away in 4th grade), Big L(so many props to him), BIG, Scarface and so many others.

But I recommend downloading some good underground stuff. Although im only 16 I remember when Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas and Outkast dropped classic albums. Sorry, not sure where I went with this stuff.

i like sum rap n hip hop.....i like kmk, icp, twiztid.......but i also like snoop...and i like run dmc.....and beastie boys....and de la soul (some of it)...i dont like most of todays music tho

Hip-hop and rap,often condone and encourage,criminal behaviour of the worst sort..even going so far as to call for the raping of women,the murder of cops and kicking a woman in the stomach,who refuses to git an abortion. I realize,that not all hip-hop and rap is bad..but a significant percentage calls for violent and criminal behaviour..so you can take my serving of rap-and flush it down the toilet..thanx.

lol you guys seriously haven't heard wicked musick. A.M.K.R (abduct,murder,kill,rape) is a fresh ass track by them killaz BEDLAM. And yeah a lot of underground artists do suck, but shit like KGP, Bedlam, Q-Strange, that's all classick wicked shit. I listen to musick all about killin, rape, murder, etc. I've always been a fan of horror, i love it. i like gore and shit like that. You either like it or you don't, everyone has there own opinions.
