Not too fond of the Doors but a few of their songs are good. I think it's amazing they are still held in high regard when none of the members were that good at their respective instruments. While I admit they have help further intertwine the jazz and rock genres, most of their work is void of any sort of emotion. They're rather elementary when it comes to classic rock/jazz. Jim rambling on and on gets old after awhile. Krieger is the one thing that held them back I think he's an average guitarist at best.

The thing that draws me to them is honestly Jim. The man behind the music. I've read a number of books on him and he's just so interesting. His life was a total mess, and I suppose it ended properly with him overdosing in France.
