but i think the republican party is going to distance itself from this loss and do some rebranding of their own (which won't include palin)...obama is probably going to shoot himself in the foot with the fiscal issues (budget deficits and trade deficits), and open the door to his critics by communicating with unfriendly foreign governments...the republicans could capitalize on that by changing their colours to become protectionist fiscal conservatives opposed to 'liberal' trade policies

first to address the capslock. shipping jobs overseas is not a liberal or conservative thing, it is a rich people thing. you think mccain, or any president for that matter was going to make so much as a dent in globalization you are crazy. i don't like it either, but it is here to stay.

second, palin is not wise on energy. i dont know where you got that, from what i have seen the most intelligent thing she has to say on energy is drill baby drill. nuclear baby.

i honestly wonder if she could have gotten away with the airhead routine as long as she did if she were ugly.
