Do some reading before you dole out advice, please, there is enough myth out there about growing weed, don't add to it. I've seen you site overgrow articles before, and they are somewhat of an authority on the subject. A blacklight has UV-A, which is useless to the plant, however a floro with UV-B, like a reptile basking light, during flowering will help to produce more THC... But guess what? a blacklight has no UV-B output whatsoever.

While I'm at it, that plant you have posted pics of is Very nice. But why are you always claiming that it is an all floro grow, when you have posted a few pics showing the MH light that is also on that plant?

Simply be honest with your advice, if you don't know, then don't make a definite statement. If you are speculating, SAY SO.

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but I read this site every day, and I see a lot of contradictory statements that you post, and it is hard enough to get started growing without uninformed advice.

Sorry if I have offended anyone, but I've been holding this one back for weeks,

I've had that happen without a blacklight. Chances are it was another enviromental factor or genetics that caused that change.

Purple color is a result of genetics, or cold climates.

the more spectrum(s) of light u give a plant, the better.I never tryed a blacklight on weed but i'm sure with other lighting that it wouldnt do harm for anyone inquiring about it. But I have used infrared light and it worked to help the plant as well, I proved it about a 1/2 hr ago when I smoked one that grew with the light part time and i'm still bzzed. Please have a happy grow,,,I just did my harvest.

lol, this is why i like these forums better than other sites. people grow plants under light bulbs, black lights, flood lights, mercury lights, those little twisty lights, etc. the only thing i havnt seen used is flash lights, car headlights and candles, lol. you guys rock, keep growing. btw, everyone makes mistakes, relax.

    Blacklight????

there isn't really a right or wrong way to grow is there?
as long as your not feeding your plant birth control pills (which by the way is retarded)
i've heard of a blacklight being used for a few hours during the day.. not alot .. just a bit, it could've done something good for the plant, it could've been completely useless.. who knows.

The point is, people do what they have to do and think they should do.. it's not anyone's fault but your own if you haven't picked up a book to educate yourself in growing.. i know i have...

sadly there is wrong ways bob
and blacklights is one of them,They only good for POSTERS u will grow a stem,if anything
floro's have limits,i use them to start plants, sometimes will use sunlight 6hrs and floro 6 hrs when sexing the plants,
if your serious about growing some invest in MH or HPS lights for maximum yields of great buds
anything else besides sunshine is lacking really, yes can do a floro grow but it wont be nothing like a MH grow

    peace and good luck
