Two plants to a 5 gallon hydro bucket?
Yes you can put 2 or 3 in a 5 gallon bucket. I had 10 gallon tubs with about 6 gallons of water and put 6 plants in them. No problems. The roots do tangle but no harm unless you want to separate them and why would you. Go for it.
