I checked ebay for those grow tents and there are plenty to choose from! I never even knew those existed and it gave me the idea to build my own...well sorta. Side note, while on eBay, I fell upon a very cool Stealth PC grow box and started building my own when I realised it was a great idea but not big enough for my setup so i scrapped that project after gutting a perfectly good case...oh well.

I had the box for a large screen TV we recently purchased still kicking around so I used the base to form my grow area and a visit to the cardboard dumpster in my local business area later I've got a nice big thick cardboard grow box...a bunch of duct tape to make it light proof...some Super77 spray glue and 2.5 emergency blankets later, the entire room is covered in reflective glory. I simply cut a door that folds up and added duct tape to the outside to keep the light sealed in. I'm letting it vent out before moving stuff in as permanent residents. It only took a couple hours to get the entire thing built and sealed for light as well as installing a couple 2800 lumens cfls.

The rubberaid deck box is a most excellent suggestion  and if my cardboard grow area burns to the ground I'll be sure to look for a deck box on my next grow! As for the heat build-up inside these boxes, I read that the easy solution is a plumbing elbow that is black so tha light won't travel out. If you only have a white one, paint it black and should do the trick.
SirDufus Reviewed by SirDufus on . Suggestions requested: Need to clone inside same room that I flower... My first post here looking for some suggestions on how to clone inside my growing room. The room is perfect for what I am doing and no one has access but me and my partner and there is no light leak. It's also big enough to allow a space to do a some cloning as well. My question is mostly this: When I switch to 12/12 to go into flowering, I need to make sure that there is no light leak coming from the clones which I plan to run on 18 hours or so... I'm not a handy person when it comes to Rating: 5
