I can see why these quotes got bumped, because there was a challenge to do so. But other than that, I don't see much purpose in it.

I am ready for things to settle down. It seems like this campaign lasted forever, and I know I got more personally invested in it than I have ever been in any campaign in my life. I really wanted this win, and I did my part as a partisan. Now that it is here I don't have a lot of enthusiasm for the gloating. To be honest, I thought I would be more into it, and I had made note of a few comments in the vien of, "Mark my words, there WILL be another Republican president!" But now I guess I am just exhausted and in no mood to bump or quote them.

The election is over, and we need to just look forward to doing the work that the election was about. It's not just a sporting event for bragging rights. This country has some serious isssues that need some serious work, and I hope everyone can find a way to be part of the solution. I supported Obama because I think he will lead us toward the right solutions for those problems, not because I wanted to back a winner for my team and rub it in the losers' faces. I have a feeling that President Obama is going to challemge EVERYONE to do their part, and I hope that we all can get on board with that, even those who did not vote for him. I don't see much profit in driving those people away.
