Mass is a commonwealth too. Our governor stated when he was elected that he was in favor of decrim and MMJ but 'it is not a priority'. This came directly from the People. You PA folks can do it! Go for it!

Deep South will be the only place where such a measure would not have much chance of passage because of all the misinformed people and incredible numbers of hardened minds. also due to having a much larger rural population.

u cannot compare PA with LA or TX man, it takes a whole lot of effort for the latter 2 than for PA. go for it, it starts with u, and it aint all that hard

LOL, Never lived in tx or la but These were the places that came to mind when someone said that their state would be last. No LA and Texas will be last. cant you still get 20 yrs in LA for a joint, unless you know some people!

not sure what part of texas you are from, but in a couple of counties up north it's a misdemeanor possesion ticket (or taken to jail, officers discretion) to posses up to 2 0z. it's obviously not decriminaliztion or MMJ but it's getting better. and i do agree, we probably will be last!

up here they are also trying to make every road a toll road (which is bs because the state/county makes money from the NTTA and the people get screwed. i'd much rather pay a state income tax and have them calm the f down. legalize weed and pay for roads and education in texas with the tax money.

harris county kinda sucks man, we dont have such a law in effect to the best of my knowledge but i heard about this discretion thing u r talking about a while ago on local news, but then im sure they said its not enacted in harris county, however it was something both county DA candidates supported as a proposed law that is yet to be approved... however i got no updates since then... it was more like august i think

and i hear ya on this tollroad problem, i rather pay a tax on my weed, as long as it remains within reasonable limits, get it legally and support the state and communities without being charged up to throat with toll fees, what good are they for... when u gotta wait so long in the line, u lose all the time saved goin just 15 miles faster than the access road, hittin no lights, sitting in the long ass lines, getting smugged!!!

we should probably lobby MPP to lobby TX

in fact i believe we do have a lot of smokers and a lot of anti-pot people around here, with our hiphop culture booming in the last few years and with austin as a student town, along with all the mexican bricks passing thru, i would assume a such a measure can get signatures n go on ballot, but as far as votes, i really cant say anything, more likely it will not get a yes since there are a lot of really traditionalistic conservative or religious ppl around the state not to mentioned lack of public education and information in regards to MMJ or generally marijuana

plus its very easy here to target such a measure: illegal immigrants linked to marijuana and drugs... u see where im goin with this
