Right on Reap, the election is over, but now our job as concerned citizens is to write our new congresspeople and tell them EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT!

If there is an issue that you care about, now is the time to focus on it and educate your elected officials, EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T VOTE FOR THEM, on what the right thing to do is. Leave the partisanship for the next round of elections and focus on cooperation until then. That's how shit gets accomplished!

I wish all of us could think and act this way, choice is not what matters, how it's made is the main thing. on what basis.

and the re-action to the opposite choice which has one is another important matter. i'm totally with u on a group of people (I wouldn't say all dems or libs, there are always the good folks among both parties) who kept finger pointing. i just hate that, no matter who does it. no matter how factual they might have been, blaming wont do any good in reality

It would be absurd to say all who didnt vote for Obama are "haters".
all of this said, i still think there are a tiny group of "haters" out there.
Those who will now talk divisive, those who will now defy even their own defeated candidate's words and his call for unity and acceptance and cooperation for an even greater America.

there is always a tiny minority in both sides that just cant to think any further than extremist party loyalty, extremist self-centrism.

I truly hope obama can reach across the isle and do what he has promised, which is to unite this country and kill the divisive politics that we've seen for too long. Difference shouldn't mean division, hell that way, no marriage should take place, cuz no two people in the world are found to have no differences of ideas at all.

I didn't vote for him, I wrote in Ron Paul, but Obama would have been my second choice.

This has long been overdue and hopefully our nation can move forward a little step toward tolerance. Of course get ready for new taxes and probably some really shitty programs, but thats the price we pay for having a 2 party system.
