I never seen anything like this! I took a few pics when I headed downtown because everyone was taking to the streets to celebrate. It was incredible, cars honking their horns, people cheering for Obama, there were a ton of people in front of the white house. I also took the liberty to partake and make a silent statement!

Agh, work, I don't feel like going but I have to!!! I am so pumped up just from being out there, it was an amazing celebration, strangers shaking each other hands, high-fiving, it was incredible, a great day to be an American!!

Well congratulations to the winner, I am glad it's all over and TV here in the Scotland can get back to normal, the amount of coverage given to the US election over here has been staggering perhaps now we can get coverage of an extremely important by election that is happening in Scotland this week.
I don't suppose anyone over on your side has heard of Glenrothes or its election but hopefully the result will be another step towards Scottish independence.
Good luck to your new president although I have a feeling that buying him a Christmas present might be a waste of money.

First off a point of site business; why don't some of you people grow up and drop the racial crap? This is REALLY getting old in here. A MAN won the election, is that such a hard thing to comprehend?

Next, a big congrads to Obama. I didn't think that he would win but what the hell. NOW my friends from the left the question is this: how long till we get free health care, college funding and marijuana laws changed?

Unfortunately the first thing Obama will do is send all the US troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan and replace them with British and European troops.
I don't know if this is true or not, maybe some of you can shed some light on this subject.
I am not really politically minded and dont tend to follow politics.
