is the procyon 100 my only choice?

First off I want to thank SNS for allowing me to spend hours reading about LED's that I still dont understand. But I understand the basics! I used to run two thousands but gave one up because of heat and F-ing PG&E. I switched to one 1000 on a mover. Not the same. It seems that LED's could help get something back. So thanks to SNS I believe that led's will work. but it seems that thanks to SNS we cant buy any because they are sold out everywhere! Thanks buddy :thumbsup:. you just had to go change the world, didnt you!??!


So what about the growpanel 45?

My guy that runs the local shop sells them. He's an old timer and has never given me bad advice or said something that didnt make sense. He said they work. He said he talked to procyon on the phone and didnt like them and never ordered any. Sunshine systems web site seems to be better. More info on the company. Which leads me to believe more accountability for their product. So to the guys that seem to know that the hell is going on. Can I use this product? I would still be using my HID on the mover but want to throw a few of these on the sides! Any thoughts?

no procyon is not your only choice but a good one.there is the ti smartlamb,lumigrow,and yes the glowpanel.I have talked to the owner of sunshine systems on the phone like jeff or somethin but he was way cool,told be about all the companys and how there customer service is.he went to the indoor grow show in San Fran and met them all.Im thinking of grabbing a glowpanel for add vert growing.there is the lightblaze 400 but there getting sued by procyon for copying them let me know what you think!!!can tell you a little more about those companys

Boy, did you just piss me off! I was suppose to go and discuss this very issue but my ride fell thru when he let a woman move in and disappeared for awhile! grrrr. So you kinda got the same impression about sun system... that they seem like a good company. Honestly, I dont mind taking one for the team on an untested system. but I dont want complete junk either!

Lol I wish I knew about it I would of been there till next time I guess,Yes He seemed to know what he was talking about He said his company has done research with all the leds phillips cree etc.with prototypes he wish he could of showed me and what they have has worked best Im going to get one but just got that procyon100 600$ ouch but think its worth it.There web has good contact info and a phone#Gotta love that and they pick up he said to panels would equal a procyon I think he said or somethin like that.looks like a good tester though and you can call and talk to him cool dude

Wow, no one else has an opinion of using LED's and HID's at the same time? Or an opinion on the sun system? That surprises me!

So Far all good in the Procyon Hood everything is looking good!!Come on peeps no opinions?

Take a look at Experiments with Hydroponics, Aeroponics, and LED Grow Lighting for a comparison of the systems out there. To my mind the only systems are the Procyon or the TI-Smartlamps.

Thanks! But like i said, you two were so successful I cant find one in person or online! I went to every shop in sonoma and lake county (ca) and few even knew what the procyon was. Maybe 1/3 had the sunshine system, but had no advice on its quality. too new. I found a guy that sounded like he would give me a great deal if a came back and showed him want I did. So I ordered two. Im going to TOFTT. But as support to my HID on a mover! we'll see what happens. Ill pick them up next week but dont start to bloom until Dec. Maybe Ill start a log but Im apprehensive about putting pics of my area on the net!

Heres a Tomato grow with the procyon lots of pics and threads on this sight I heard if it can grow tomatos it can grow herb!!!
