Everyone dreams. It's just a matter of memory of those dreams, not whether they occur or not. A person's body is not just relaxed during REM, it is almost paralyzed. The reason being that you'd act out your dreams otherwise. I watched a documentary where they blocked sleep subject's from receiving the paralyzing message. They sat up with eyes open, talked, smoked looked for all the world like they were aware, but their brains were asleep. None of them remembered anything until they were shown the videos. The sleep researchers in the documentary now think that REM sleep is a survival tool used to experience dangerous situations and try different methods of solution in a non-lethal, matrix-like simulation. A simulation that is so real to the brain that the body must be immobilized. I thought that was pretty cool.

Word BB, the body is an incredibly complex thing that we haven't even come close to figuring out yet. Imagine over the next 50 years the kind of progress we're going to make.. we're living in the future yo, it's happening here and now.

Also you guys should look up lucid dreaming. There are ways of training your mind to control your dreams. It doesn't make any sense until you try it. Give it a shot I promise it will shatter your universe.

I used to turn my falling dreams into flying dreams. Much cooler with a less stressful wake up . . .

I haven't read what people have said, but here's what I'm going to say:








Marijuana when in the system is received as delta 9 tetrahydrocannibinol which is the product of THC being processed in the liver. Then when it goes into the brain, specifically the pituitary gland which releases DMT(Delta-Methol-Tri something, google it) while the body is sleeping. This is mainly released when someone reaches a deep REM, thus, the dreams you don't remember. You don't remember them because DMT is an extreme hallucinogen which takes control of your conscience/sub conscience while asleep. Once you awake your mind takes control back and you quickly forget what has just been thought about.

When THC is in the blood stream at the release of this DMT it makes the release much more extreme and more DMT is released into the bloodstream helping you fall even deeper into a deep sleep.

This is just what I have gotten from reading all over the internet including texts about cannabis.

Wrong, if you read above, you dream harder when your high, but seeing as DMT is such an extreme hallucinogen and you aren't actually thinking, your thoughts are just being made, you do not remember this.

You dream every time you go to sleep, you just don't remember all of your dreams, and getting high all the time and going to sleep high puts you in a more sedative sleep and could cause you to not remember your dreams.
