Try to identify the strain by the high you get. If you start a Sativa indoors grow for two months then put it outside you'll have a 20 foot tall plant by September. If you live in a place where it has a short growing season starting early indoors is a good way to go, but it all depends on how big you want the thing to get and the growing season where you live.

I have always wondered how long i should keep them indoors and how big before moving them outdoors.
