RebGirl420- If you take the mice outside, they just come back in the next day. Mice have lots of diseases, and who wants the little bastards crawling on your silverware. See one mouse, must be 10 in house. But if you're really worried about their little mousy feelings, I guess we could give em the lethal injection, call a priest etc. where do I get the tiny little needles? (I do agree about the glue traps, had one escape one once and it climbed into my stove and got stuck in the stove insulation and died)

for the last 3 years i have been working on learning to respect life. to the point i have stopped myself from killing a lot of insects and spiders.

a dead mouse irks me on a far deeper level than a live one, struggling to survive.


furthermore, you appear to assume that all mice, rats, or "rodents" as you like to say, are inherently diseased, as though they are born with it.

crows eat corn. therefore the must be competing with man for food.
Cows produce milk for their young, therefore their young must be competing with us for that milk???


come on man! WE ARE ALL ALIVE. there is enough space and resource on this planet to sustain each and every single life on it. it's not a competition of survival, it's a competition of control, and only humans are competing, everyone else is just trying to survive.

we also keep mice as pets, are they competing for food too? how is it a competition if we are GIVING it to them?



there is no right to life if we can sit back and say a diseased mouse is not worthy of life, but a cancerous human is.
