Like I said in another thread about the nyc police, something has got to change. Something I didn't notice being mentioned in the thread was a transit cop who had walked up into the scene could possibly testify.

edit: When I saw this on the news the dude was basically crying on camera in the hospital bed, so I think something fucked up really went down

Hope the incident isn't true.....his prior record, running from the cops, and having Al Sharpton at the bedside, doesn't help his credability much.

A law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing, said many initial details about the incident cast doubt on Mineo's claims.
For instance, the official said Mineo initially yelled at the scene that he had been shocked with a stun-gun by the officers, but none of the officers was carrying the weapon.
The Brooklyn District Attorney's office says it doesn't comment on any open investigations. Mineo was previously arrested in June on a charge of gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Sadly bk, wouldn't surprise me if it really did happen. Personally I have had handcuffs on about 20 times in my life, not counting kinky sex.. lol joke.. anyways, if some shit like this ever happened to me I would hope my record wouldn't go into deciding if my claims were credible or not. And you know, if something happens to a new yorker who has in the least a light tan from vacation, rev al will be there, he does love the camera

lil update I saw on news earlier, all accused officers placed on desk duty, I think, first they said stripped of gun and badge, then they said desk duty, shrug, confusing news.
