Well, It's been a while since i posted my original question, and have since come up with a few answers (thanks to stinky) if anyone else is interested.

Example: My tap water is a constant 170PPM, stinky advised me to add calmag to the water up to 250PPM, then add nutes up to 400PPM (depending on plant size(s)). Then PH after nutes are added.

Im sure most of you already know this, but for the beginners it can save A LOT of trouble.. :rastasmoke:
