What I wonder is how can you just call up her staff and say you have the President of France on the line, and he wants to talk to the candidate, and they BELIEVE you! Palin is a ding dong, but shouldn't she have a staff that screens the incoming calls? Isn't there a protocol for heads of state contacting the candidates?

"Hello. I have the President of France on the line, and he wants to talk to candidate Palin."

"Gee wilickers, Sarah! It's the president of FRANCE callin'!"
