Well, I think I'd start by putting in a cabinet perhaps 2 or 3 ft deep along one wall, with shelves and doors. That would become my vegging area, and if there's room left, storage of supplies. The wall I'd pick would depend on where I would get fresh air and where I would exhaust. You don't need really need the MH's, and so I would use florescent lights for vegging. The rest of the room would be flowering. You need more space for flowering than you do for vegging, because the plants get bigger as the mature. depending on the room, I would prolly get 2 600W HPS for flowering. It would be nice if you had running water there and a way to pump water/nutes out to waste. You must also make sure you have an abundant source of fresh air, as well as a good way to clean and exhaust the used air.

    good luck!

    get urself 2 homeboxs http://www.plantahydro.com/catalog/i...o20homebox.jpg

one for veg and one for flowering... get ur self 1 400W MH lamp and 1 600 HPS lamp... if u go to the right place they have combo deals... also for the flower tent. get urself a nice canfan and carbon filter like in the picture, ur going to need it to keep the HPS cool. this will run u a quick 1200. you can always go half that and get one tent, one 600w hps lamp.. a fan and filter

This place gives u a good deals(packages), but u might want to go and pick it up, im pretty sure things get expensive when they get heavy. the ballast is atleast 40lbs, the lamp is another 10-20lbs. the tent is like 30-40lbs, and they charge per lb/mile or some chit like that.

i actually saw one website that has an entire package of all the shit u need from ph tester, to food, tent, lights, fans, for a decent price... maybe someone else can help me remember where that was.

I was thinking I should be able to keep the cost of setting the whole room up for 1000 ,and probably still have spent to much
the rooms measuments are exactly 7x10 I dont need a tent ,I will build a cabinet for the veggies and give the rest of the space to budding ,I seen a setup on youtube he had 27 plants of k2 anyways his room is about half the size of what I wanna set up I will look for the link and post it (if I can find it again)
but need to keeep it as cheap as possible and get the most out of that room

    IF I may.....
I suggest a living wall that would maximize your grow spave big time. For about 150 you could have 30 to 50 plants and only take up 3' of horizontal space. Place lights vertical to the growing plane rather then horizontal as with most grows. If you r interested I will explain my plans for you to try in as much detail as possible

IT\'S ALL BULLSHIT!!! Everything I post here is FICTIONAL!!!! I have absolutely no first hand knowledge about growing/smoking/selling cannabis. All information/pictures posted by me have been taken from various places on the internet. I just want people here to think I am COOL!!

Get yourself two light movers on rails...use 2 - 1000 watt hortilux HPS bulbs for flowering and use high quality 1000 MH bulbs for vegging with digital ballasts which are all instantly switchable from HPS/MH, run very cool, and are more energy efficient than the old magnetic ballasts. Run the lights on the opposite sides of the room from each other so there is always coverage of light on the entire garden, get the best reflector you can afford also to maximize your light output...you can flower the whole room this way with excellent light levels and yield 3-4 pounds pounds per cycle..maybe much more with big plants. You could also do three 600 HPS not on movers which would be more efficient total light output wise and provide even better coverage but would have a higher initial startup cost. This would be one way to "maximize the room" Big plants in 5 gallon buckets will do it in this case.
