Hey Sns Im going to move my procyon to 1 seed chamber for my seedlings and get a 250 watt hps and metal halide bulb with a lumatek digital ballast is that enough light? 2x2 so 4 sq feet at 250watts is 62.5 watts a sq ft should be good enough ?

Heres some pics of the new set-up 250 watt hortilux blue metal halide bulb for veg and hortilux super hps for flower set at 20 inchs above canopy right now.putting procyon in a dr40 16" by 16" by 4'tall for first month of seedlings.

Good deal on getting a log started, I've been dorking around with the Procyons for awhile now, I got about 2 oz per light, have 2 going over a 2x4 space doing DWC. Thanks SnS for the advice on augmenting the wavelengths. I talked with a plant physiologist and they said that you really only need to make sure both chlorophylls get hit...so like 4 wavelengths, 430,450,640,660. I was thinking of getting some of those 15w grow lights in the wavelengths the Procyon isn't hitting (430, 660) and see if that helps. I figure I should be getting around a half pound in the least. I really want to just run the thing a couple times a year and make sure I have plenty of smoke for me and my friends. Right now it's gotta be going all year. From what I've seen vegging with these lights works REALLY well, just the flowering they don't seem to beef up the last 3 or so weeks like with my HPS.

Just adding 2-3 23w 2700k CFLs per procyon will make you the happiest person in the world. The first run PRocyons had 435nm, so if you got that, your good. But you do need the 700nm and above fan. Its been proven man.
You will still get good ass nug without any supplement, proved that too, Im just adding my :twocents:

Hey you guys my top of the canopys of the plant are getting about 92 degrees with a nice breeze is that ok? im exhausting with clip fan and 8" little fan will post pics later

well heat was a issue The Fan Thanks for the info encouraging my led again so i put it back for awhile till i can get some good ecofans to cool my reflector and and exhaust my tent .

I think heat is a big issue for my grow also

last grow my buds did not smell nice because I think the heat evaporated all the good smells

I also have burn marks probably from heat stress and in my log, the taller plants have weird leaf formation and discoloration (probably due to heat stress)
