HID light?
Is there any alternative to HID light for flowering? the grow space i hav is very small (1'x1'x3'), i need a light that would fit in such a small space. would just a regular cfl work for flowering? the whole area is covered in tinfoil & gets rly bright.

HID light?
It will work using the lights you are referring to. The yield that you will get from it is the only thing in question. The HID lights are superior for both vegetation and flowering with their intensity. Many people have only CFL lights and have had success.
Good luck.

HID light?
cfls will work, many of my first grows were cfl only grows and i got fair amounts of bud.. how ever the intensity of hids will hands down give you more bud every time. in your small area you can still use hids but you dont need a very high powered one, i would recomend getting a 100- 250 watt hps. if heat becomes an issue their are some excellent home made cool tube guides on and around here
