    light cycle question

I just switched from 12/12 to 8/16 after i saw the buds to start forming. I do not see any new growth since the switch in light cycle. it has been two weeks now. Did I move to fast with this?

Veg cycle: 18/6, 20/4 or 24/0. (First 1-6 weeks growth for seedlings)

Flowering cycle 12/12...the next 8-12 weeks. (until harvest)

Need more info....1. how old/tall are the plants? 2. have they always been on 12/12?...if so, you might as well stick with it now...

Edit: Ok , seen the pic...stick with 12/12.

    light cycle question

I switched to 8/16 about 2 weeks ago. History on plants I start in hydro until 4" tall then transplant to soil with nutes for vegetation. about 4 months old. I had to move and prunned down for transporting. now have been in this cycle for about 3 weeks. plants are about 36" tall .

    light cycle question

You want to put them back on 12/12 and you will see a difference. They WILL grow. You never want to do 6/18 during flowering, you want the to be on 12/12 the entire time.

    Hope that helps!

You're doing well for your first time growing... Be proud!!
Definitely go back to 12/12. 6 or 8 hours of light isn't enough photosynthesis time to allow for much continued growth.

Try to think about how it is in nature... In summer the daylight lasts 15 or 16 hours every day, and in winter the daylight falls back to about 12 hours a day or so.. If you strive to mimic this schedule indoors, your plants will do well and you'll see good results.
