    No don't trim any leaves. you will just stress the plant without any benefit.
    I remember that stinky said somewhere that you should leave the leaves till the pale and fall off by themselves.

    I try to get my pruning done before I start flowering...Don't remove fan leaves unless your near the end of flowering and the leaf was just gonna fall of anyway...You'll see what I'm talkin' about soon enough...If you feel the fan/shade leaves are blocking light presently just tuck them under the branch...:jointsmile:
