i had a 68 mustang with 289, 650 holley, edlebrock intake, comp cam, d.u.i. ignition, 302 heads, headers, big sway bars, all poly graphite bushings, progressive springs, 1° negative wedge kit, granada spindles, discs, etc, shift kit for the c-4, aluminum slot mags. but the car i miss most was my 68 caddy hearse. it had a 500 cube caddy engine, a carb big enough to suck in small birds, intake was massaged before i bought it, so was the cam. 3" single exhaust out the back. shift kit in the tranny. the interior was all leather, and crushed velvet. chrome trim all over the place. i didn't race either car, i just liked wrenching on cool stuff. i had eventually planned to tub the hearse and add a flamed paint job to the front. however, circumstances changed, and i sold it.
