I actually spoke to the doctor you speak of and it was my intuition to not mess with that guy. He just seemed so fake. And when I sent him an email telling him how fake I thought he was he replied in not so nice of words. If he was legite in the first place he never would have responded to me.:hippy:

He is, in fact, a legally practicing osteopath. Legit. Anybody wanting to check him out to see that he is can do so at the WA state credentialing website.

Repeated assertions that he isn't legit isn't going to make him not legit. Some don't like the guy, fine. But continually slandering him (def: "a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report" Slander | Define Slander at Dictionary.com) here on the forum isn't, in my opinion, appropriate.

ok for one yes it is legal in washington state in tacoma alone there are 3 medical disp. and in seattle there are 5 disp. in spokan thee are 2. finally in pasco there is 1. i live here in washington and know all about the medical green laws

I am new to this site and also new to the medical marijuana thing... I was wondering is there a dispensary anyone knows about in the Vancouver, WA area that I can access with my medical card?

Or, if not, does anyone know where to get it while I wait for the ones we are growing to mature?

There are some cooperatives and collectives which seem to be operating under the law. Generally, cooperatives and collectives in the Tacoma area prefer to not call themselves dispensaries, simply because the law does not, as yet, allow for "affirmative defense" MMJ organizations by that title. So when someone asks "Are there legal dispensaries in Washington?" then generally the answer you'll get is "no." It's the terminology difference. Remember, 69.51.A doesn't make medical marijuana legal in Washington State; it only provides an affirmative defense.

There are a few cooperatives and collectives in the Seattle and Tacoma area. Off the top of my head (I know there are others)...

You can pick up a Little Nickel in your area and most likely you'll find some advertisements by cooperatives/collectives on the front page, too.

There isn't anything in Vancouver that I know about, but that doesn't mean there isn't. Take your patent with you the first time if that is what your question is referring to. :thumbsup:

There are a few cooperatives and collectives in the Tacoma area...I know of at least 9 in the Tacoma Area, there are 2 on south tacoma way...A new one is opening in University place soon and he has the goooood meds.....Little Nickel seems to have many listed on the new Green Page...Last page. I had thought Havsey was a script Doc but obviously not. Why would it take 2 weeks to get a referral if you have records? Most Docs will give a new Patient a 90 day and then another 90 day and a 6 month so he does see you 3 times a year. Thats what my brother was offered by a few but then he was finally able to get his records from another state and all was fine. Yep, this really sucks for most people that don't have a regular Doctor, which is most poorer folk.
