Im new to smoking and weed in general. I got some buds the other day, and the inside was sorta...soft i guess you can call it. I dont know if this is normal considering how the previous buds Ive gotten were not soft, but were rather..dry? any help would be appreciated. thank you ahead of time.

if they were 'wet' then the problem is they were poorly dried, you'll need to dry them some more, you can find how by using Search. If they were spongy but not wet then you are fine. real dry weed is usually the bricked up stuff.

Did they appear to be discolored in any way, or have a white fibrous material in the middle, or greyish damp-looking dust?
Spread them out on a piece of clean paper or in a paper bag to dry before putting them back in the jar.
If they are discolored as above, do not smoke them; moldy bud is harmful to your lungs.

no they were not discolored, looked fine to me, just a lil spongey. stems broke pretty easy too. so they seemed to be relativly dried well.
