I recently grew plants outdoors and was pouring blended fruit shortening (extra stuff from the fruit that i don't eat). I gave it pineapple skins, lettuce, watermelon skin etc. One thing i noticed were that the buds seemed smaller and for sativas were maturing faster it seemed. It was still very potent however. I would give it these smoothies and water it on top. I recently thought that fruits give off ethylene gas when they are rotting/ aging. Could this explain why the buds did not grow as big (in diameter)?
