    winter greenhouse growing

Hi, I had the same thought last year and tried it with Swiss Miss and I live in California. They survived the winter but they grew so slowly it was laughable. I started them mid Nov and I don't think they were more then 6 inches tall in Jan! All three took off towards the end of Feb which would have been when I normally would start an outside grow and she gifted me with two harvests one in June and the second two weeks ago.

Of course, if you had a greenhouse and a heater & lights.....you could grow anything
