That should work as well, but it's my impression that curing should take a bit longer, I'm using the old mason jars with the latch. I just open and close them several times daily. But it still seems to do better after 4-5 days as opposed to 2-3.

Done that myself. What I did was leave the pot in the jars, put the jars (no lids!) in a cardboard box in a cool, dry place like a closet. If the pot overdries just put a fresh pot leaf in each jar, cover and wait overnight. Next day the pot should be perfect and you can discard the leaf.
sunbiz1 Reviewed by sunbiz1 on . Curing Question please read. Last night I cut up all my buds and put them into large canning jars. I ended up with 13 big jars. Here is my problem. I have to leave for FLA tomorrow until next Tuesday. That is 6 days. Will it be okay it I have the jars sealed and in a box covered. They are in the dark. Until then I will be opening them up a few times a day for 15 minutes each. My buds are dry. Very nice and fluffy. It turned out to be decent too. I did not want to leave it hanging for another 6 days as it hung for 2 weeks Rating: 5
