    After living in Sydney in the early 80's, (USA, 60's) I think the 60's, peace, love, weed,

    I would have to say I'm pretty glad I'm alive now. Stronger weed, and who wants to live without the technology we have now? Living in the past would suck, I would rather go to my freezer to grab some steak then go out and kill the cow and if i wanted to keep my meat for more then a day or two have to sail some damn ship to China for some spices. I would rather go to my fridge for some milk then be sitting on some stool milking me a glass. Right now is the time period to be! Representin the 21st century yo!

    60's for sure; I was there. Almost civilized by todays standards, but not yet afflicted with AIDS, the war on drugs, Rosie O'Donnel etc. Vietnam, civil rights, and the cold war were something of a problem, though.

    I take exception to the comment about the drugs, there was more than enough potency in our substances to get you where you wanted to be, believe me.
