damn! passionate much? :hippy: Im not saying anything about Palin and her views on MMJ. The connection Im trying to make is this: Palin is saying that it is ok that she tried MJ because it was legal in her state. Implying that states should be able to decide if MMJ is right for them.

I am with you up to here. I am saying to myself as I read, "ok, oookay, ok"

Yet she follows a party that is notorious for raiding MMJ clinics in Cali.

Stop right there. This is what I fail to see. I mean really, it's the "Republican Party"? The "party" is responsible for the raids. Well if that's the case, and it is because of the party. Newsflash, the other party, the "Democrats", have been in control of congress for 2 years. Did you know congress has the authority to remove cannabis from the schedule of narcotics. Take it off. Congress, or the Attorney General. So when is it gonna happen. That would instantly legalize it period. So what are they waiting for, for that matter, why didn't they do it when they controlled congress for 30 years up to the mid 90's. They must have forgot.
Point is, it's not about party.
I am a republican.
I am on your team with cannabis.
Cannabis staying illegal as an agenda is way bigger than political parties. Both sides have plenty vested in keeping the status quo. And that will not change, no matter how much you believe in the "Change". lOL

Yeah, ok, so what? Niether has Obama. I don't think it is a relevant issue in a presidential campaign. Why would she? For that matter, I have not seen Obama "come out and say he would stop the raids". In fact I have only seen him contradict himself on the issue.

So what. She is the VP. That doesn't mean she has to be in lock step with all of McCains views. But she is the VP, she's not in charge, he is ya dig? McCain is tolerant of other perspectives, just as Palin is, that's why it works. I know that might be kind of tuff to get your hands around. I mean with Biden and all, democrats just expect the vp to instantly adopt all the views of the "One". LOL
