P.S. If she was really some kind of anti-cannabis nazi, she could have done something about it if she wanted to. Her fundamental belief that the government should have less to do with you than more is what likely was behind her not taking any significant action against the current laws in Alaska.

As far Sarah smoking ganja, it doesn't really surprise me. I always thought I've seen a familiar sparkle in her eyes. Of course, she doesn't smoke now, but her past will never stop following her. I wonder what strain she smoked? Apparently, "she didn't like it", which leads me to believe she had some brick. But everything bricked not coming from Mexico generally gets you high, and that seems like a long trek for a culero...

I am sure there is a perfectly good reason for the comments trying to portray her in some negative light for doing something that every candidate has done. And I am sure there is a good reason that it is apparently ok and not worth mentioning how "sorry" you feel for Obama's and Biden's kids too right?

I agree! sorry I want politicians too stand up for what they believe in even if its the road less traveled. If she believes in states rights, she needs to say so.

This thread is about Palin, yet every point someone makes .... you point to Obama/Biden. Not everyone on this board is as A or B, Black or White as this. Im willing to bet if we sat down, 90% of the world we could agree on. But why do we have to point out how bad the other side is to make a candidate look better? what about the republican that likes McCain but not Palin? is that possible? I kinda feel thats how the republican party reacted to Palin. because if they didnt, it could split the party or wouldnt appear to have the strength they do. remember when Roosevelt split the republican party with the bull moose party. and to some extent I think the democrats feared Hillary for that reason. but there is a certain logic to just doing what youre told and following the party even if it you dont agree with it. right?
