LolaGal is on the right track...I searched the site and can't find anything on making a homemade carbon filter.
It involves drilling the shit out of a five gallon bucket with a small drill bit...I'm talking about alot of holes...A thick filter material is placed around the inside of the bucket...The bucket is then filled with activated carbon...Since you're using a 4'' inline fan,you then want to cut a 4" hole on a bucket cover...Now you just need to buy a 4" flange(about $10) and caulk it to the bucket cover...Connect your four inch duct hose to the fan and run it to the filter flange...
Don't quote me on the above as I've never made one but it's made something like that...Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in...:stoned:
