That would be way too hot, like 440 F. Personally, I would use 6 1/2 to 7. They have a temp chart in the manual.

I use 7 myself. I found this to be optimal. Sometimes I'll kick it up to 7.5; but it depends on how well I broke it up. If I did a bad job breaking it up and some of the chunks are still thick then I'll go to 7.5... if I did a good job then about 7 or a little less.
