For the OP i would also advise to give her some indica or mixed (indica+sativa)... they are the easiest for newbies...
Yet giving someone unexperienced some strong (or pure) sativa can cause unpleasant experiences and even pannic attacks...
So choose carefully the weed you will get her, and have fun! :stoned::jointsmile:
