Should I add more plants? (PICS)

drip systems are easy, and u can use them with soil... u'll need play with it to figure out what the right amount of drips/water/time the pump needs to stay on. but u basically take a gallon of water, add ur nutes(try not to feed with every watering) say ur going to need 3-4-5 gallons, get a 5 gallon bucket, do each gallon individually, and dump it into the bucket, place the hose and drip sticks into the soil, and turn the pump on... its the best and easiest way to water mass amount of plants, once set up, u just add water and plug in the water pump untill it drains all the water in the bucket. they're cheep too for wat u get out of it... u could prolly assemble it completely for 50-100$ the pump will be the most expensive and go big, as ur going to need 60-80 drip ends, depending of if u want to keep a few to water manually... im sure its only going to become more and more of a hassle as those plants mature.

Interesting! I'll just have to find the right fittings/hoses and it's gonna be perfect

Right now I'm watering with a pump (leftover from my old ebb n flow system) and it takes me about 40 min cause I don't water more than 1/4 gal per plant so I have to mesure each one!

I'm really starting to like this forum :rastasmoke:

around here people seem to do 9 to 12 per light w/ about a 2 week veg. i would stick to the 80 under 6. sounds just right. i was using ebb and flow when i started years ago w/ rockwool, then went to drip with coco, then hand water with a pump, and just went back to E&F, but now i use coco not rockwool. i do 9 per in coco, 5gal E&F pots and i love it!!!! easy stuff. i go back to hand water the last week to use up the last of the nutes. never trust a timer. although i love these digital timers, have not had one fail yet....knock on wood. good luck and nice job on the room and babies, looks great!

if u can given that those lights are all air cooled and exausted. either get them closer to the plants or get the plants closer to the light, i think for 1000w hps go 18-24 inches but u need to keep this distsance constant and u need to check it every day, better to far than too close but dont waste what u could use... kinda the take all you can eat but eat all u take.

I'm 100% with you on this one but the room was conceived with an ebb 'n flow irrigation system in mind so bringing the lights closer is not possible: I'd have to drill new holes in the ceiling and relocate all the lamps cause now they're too close from each other. I'd also have to re-install longer duct and longer chains. I'll probably do that while the plants dry before next crop. I'll also buy a CO2 injection kit for the next crop to increase yield.

Thanks for the good comments guys! Realy appreciated:thumbsup:

when i finally get my flower room ready it should be on par with what u have with the only and major exception is ill have 1 1000w hps on a light rail... i might get a second and that would be amazing... ill do co2 after my first harvest so i can get the key of what im doing... how did u clean the room.. or did u just kind sweep it up, wipe it down, throw some plastic on the ground>?

then i eventually plan on doing a hydroponic/air garden in a year or so.

1 or 2 1000W lamps is plenty but I like to go big, I started with 3 lamps and finally used all the space available and bough 3 more.

Also, I just cleaned it up after the last shitty ebb 'n flow harvest and put some new plastic on the ground. I wanted to be sure no bugs were hiding in the cracks of the plastic. I also removed all plastic on the walls for the same reason. I should put some new plastic soon.
