Should I add more plants? (PICS)
Hey guys, I've been lurking on the forum for a while but never posted and need you guys to help me a little.
First of all, I've always been a fan of hydro (ebb-n-flow), wich I had success with for a couple of years but I lost 2 crops in a row due to some stupid timers.
I decided to change my growing method to get a bit of flexibility, that's why I choosed soil as my new growing medium. I'm growing skunk clones btw. I always used tree 4'x8' ebb'n flow tables, I'm not familiar with dirt so I'm a bit lost on how many plants should I keep.
-The room is 11'x11'
-6 x 1000W Sun agrow HPS
-lamps are in 8" cooltubes taking air from outside and trowing it outside with 10" inline fan (no smell ouside)
-I also have a 6" fan trowing air outside linked to a can filter and a thermostat
-I planted the clones 14 days ago and they grow very well (more than 1" a day since a few days)
-I use General Hydro Flora nova with some supps like cannazim, power pack etc.
Now the question: I have 80 clones that are transplanted into 10" pots and I also have 40 more sitting in smaller 4" pots waiting to be transplanted. I still have a litle bit of space left to space them a little but I could also add more plants. Should I keep 80 or go for 120???
Plants are in flowering mode since yesterday (12/12) so if I want to transplant it's now or never...
What do you guys think?wassup Reviewed by wassup on . Should I add more plants? (PICS) Hey guys, I've been lurking on the forum for a while but never posted and need you guys to help me a little. im curious how much u spent on that operation?
personally grow those, and do more in 2-3 months after u harvest and then you'll know how many u can really put in there without sacrificing yeild. u may eventually pull the weak or stunted and come off with just enough room, but stinky is the person to really tell you.
please though, tell me what you spent?

how much I spent for the room? I'd say about 5K$ for all the stuff. Also electricity is cheap here. :smokin:

i am not sure on how that strain goes but i say... not to add any more, trim lower growth and make sure u have access to the whole room from maybe a different angle because i bet in 2 weeks it will be pretty thick. good luck, throw in a drip system makes life very easy.

thanks Stoned and Medigrower for the input!
I think you're right about keeping only 80 plants. I just watered them and it wasn't easy so I can't imagine trying to walk in the room with 120! Also I'm still not familiar with that skunk genetic, I don't even know what kind of skunk it is so it's hard to say if they stretch a lot during flowering. I saw the results of my friend's place and it didn't smell like the skunk of the good old days. More like a Lemon skunk, but again, I'm no strain expert
I'll also look up to the drip system, but maybe for next crop as I'm still a novice with soil.
