I recently changed from 2 24" flouro tubes to 3 75w CFL's for my clones and starting growth before putting my babies in the cabinet where the 400w HPS hangs and so far I'm not impressed with the growth rate. The CFL's are labeled as "Daylight" bulbs and are suppose to have a temp of 6500k (that's what the package said anyways), air temp in the room is about 72f and I have 4in rockwool cubes sitting on a bed of Hydrotron which is in a plastic tray sitting on a heat mat and the mat runs 15 mins every hour to keep surface temp between 72f and 80f, lights are on 24/7. My question is this, does it sound like the setup is correct or am I pushing the blue side of the light spectrum to much? Any feedback would be greatfull!! :thumbsup:
